Thousands watched as Brenton Hager led police on a chase for several hours in a reportedly stolen pickup before crashing in a pond and being arrested.

He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday.

During that chase earlier this month, Hager nearly caused a wreck on the highway, crashed through a gate and even damaged one of our station vehicles in his attempts to get away from police.

Hager most recently appeared before a judge from jail earlier this month where he plead not guilty to charges filed against him.

Hager is in the Cleveland County jail on eight charges including assault and battery on an officer with a dangerous weapon, attempting to elude and officer, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving under suspension, and inattentive driving.

Tuesday's court listing is a preliminary hearing conference to be held at 1 p.m. in the district attorney's office.

According to court documents, Hager is not to be released until his $100,000 bond has been posted.
