One Dead After Overnight Crash On Interstate 40

DEL CITY, Oklahoma -

One person is dead after an overnight hit-and-run crash on eastbound Interstate 40 near Sunnylane Road, troopers said.

The victim was identified as 54-year-old Ricky Rivas of Sparks.

Troopers at the scene said the crash appeared to have happen during the overnight hours.

Troopers were notified when one trooper was flagged down and told where to look for the body of the hit-and-run victim.

The outside lane is blocked due to the body being found.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call *55.
