Two Dead, One Injured After Shooting In SW OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY - Two people are dead and another has been hospitalized after a shooting in southwest Oklahoma City, police said.
The shooting happened after 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of SW 37 near Portland Avenue and Newcastle Road.
Erica Bradberry, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene while two men were taken to a local hospital.
Giovanny Portugal, 26, died at the hospital and Jassiel Castro, 22, underwent surgery. Police said Castro is expected to survive.
Police said the shooting happened outside of a southwest Oklahoma City home.
Investigators think the suspect, who was described as a Hispanic male, was driving a Dodge pickup.
