OKLAHOMA CITY - One person was injured Monday morning in a reported northwest Oklahoma City shooting, police said.

Police said a man walked into a gas station near NW 23 and Ann Arbor with a wound to the face.

The man told police he asked for a ride somewhere and the people he asked for a ride from shot him.

Police said the victim said he was shot with a BB gun or a pellet gun. 

He was taken to a local hospital. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.
