A teacher with Skiatook Public Schools was arrested on complaints of sexual battery and public intoxication.

Skiatook Police said officers working security at a football game were notified of an intoxicated man walking around the visitor’s side of the field.

When officers found the man, they said he was identified as Leonard Hope, an art teacher at Skiatook High School.

Police said Hope brought a water bottle with vodka in it and that his blood alcohol content was .28.

Several witnesses told officers Hope had also touched a minor girl’s bottom, according to police. Officers said they talked to the girl, who confirmed the story.

Hope was booked into jail and has since bonded out.
