Tulsa Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 4400 block of South 109th East Avenue, near 41st and Garnett.

Witnesses said they saw a man with a gun walking down the street.

Tulsa Police said it started when a man thought he saw some people shoplifting at the Reasor's at 41st and Garnett.

Police said the man jumped in his car and followed the couple as they ran into a neighborhood nearby.

Video taken by a witness shows the man walk up to the couple and point a gun at them.

The man told police he repeatedly told the couple to go back to the store but they kept walking.

Police said at some point the man got spooked and fired two shots into the ground. They said no one was hit and the couple ran away again.

That's when we're told the man went back to the Reasor’s to report what happened to police.

Officers said the man had a concealed carry permit that they seized, along with his gun.

Police don't think any charges will be filed.

The Reasor’s manager said they were aware of the incident but the corporate office didn't have a shoplifting report.
