Thai Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained and diced
  • 1/4 cup peanut sauce
  • 1/4 cup General Tso sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • Butter lettuce leaves
  • Chopped peanuts
  • Sliced green onions
  1. In a skillet brown the ground chicken and drain well.
  2. Return the chicken back to the skillet and add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
  3. Stir in the onion and water chestnuts and continue cooking till chicken is browned.
  4. Add in the both of the sauces and garlic. 
  5. Stir well and cook till it simmers.
  6. Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  7. Top with chopped green onions and chopped peanuts.
  8. Serve on full butter lettuce leaves.
