Crews responded to a mobile home fire just after midnight in southwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called out to battle the blaze located near SW 23rd St. and S. Portland Avenue. The homeowner told police she was cooking, took food to someone, and left a burner on.
Officials said the fire was completely contained in the kitchen, but the fire was still heavily involved.
Officials estimate damage to the home at $8,000.
