(AP) - The top nine teams in The Associated Press college football poll have held onto their spots, led by No. 1 Alabama. Northwestern and Boise State moved into the Top 25 for the first time this season. Alabama, top ranked since the preseason, received 58 first-place votes. No. 2 Miami received three first-place votes. Alabama has now been No. 1 a total of 102 times in AP poll history, passing Oklahoma for the second most behind Ohio State, which has been there 105 times.

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Keyshawn Evans scored 29 points and Illinois State jumped out to a huge first-half lead to beat Tulsa 84-68 in the third-place game at the relocated Puerto Rico Tip-Off. Evans had 20 points by halftime on 8-for-9 shooting, helping the Redbirds run off 20 straight points to take control in the opening 6½ minutes. Junior Etou had 16 points to lead Tulsa.

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - Jordan Howard scored 27 points, Hayden Koval added 22 and Central Arkansas beat Alcorn State 102-76. Howard made four 3-pointers with the Bears (2-2) shooting 11 of 23 from 3-point range and 55 percent overall.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans Pelicans say forward Anthony Davis has been cleared from the NBA's concussion protocol and is probable for Monday night's home game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pelicans say Davis was diagnosed with a facial bruise near his right eye after taking a blow from the back of Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic's head during a 146-114 loss in Denver on Friday night.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. (AP) - PGA Tour rookie Austin Cook won the RSM Classic without being seriously challenged, closing with two birdies for a 3-under 67 and a four-shot victory. The victory in the final PGA Tour event of the calendar year gives Cook a spot in the Masters next year.
