An hours-long standoff with Tulsa Police ended when no one was found inside the home Wednesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a possible home invasion in the 1000 block of North Norfolk Avenue near Latimer.

Police blocked the neighborhood street. There were several police vehicles on scene and at least on officer with a bullet proof shield.

Officers were out front with a megaphone, repeatedly calling for the suspected person or persons inside to "come outside, with nothing in their hands and meet officers with hands above their heads."

There was no response, and after several hours, the standoff ended when no one was found inside the home.
