Body Cam Footage Released In Deadly Chickasha Officer-Involved Shooting

CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -

Police body camera footage was released today in officer-involved shooting in Chickasha from back in November 2016.

Then, officers showed up at a home near S 20th and Montana in response to a disturbance call. They were met by armed suspect Steve Vananda, 56. The situation turned south quickly and gunfire was exchanged. Vananda was shot and died on scene.

News 9 will have the body cam footage as soon as it's available.
