OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Oklahoma -
A small earthquake was detected Tuesday afternoon in Oklahoma County, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The 3.0-magnitude quake was reported shortly after 3:15 p.m. Its epicenter was about five miles west, northwest of Jones, five miles north of Spencer and 12 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
The earthquake was more than three and a half miles deep.
No immediate reports of damage or injuries were reported.
