Drugs, guns and cash are now off the streets thanks to a team effort by the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and Coweta Police.

Coweta Police Chief Mike Bell said the police operation should serve as a warning to criminals.

"There's some marijuana that was in the house. We had methamphetamine that was inside the house, numerous amount of pills that have yet to be identified as to what they are. Heroin was also inside the house. We know that there was a stolen gun."

There was also an AR-15 and two vehicles that were seized.

Bell said it started April 8th, when one of his officers arrested a juvenile after a short chase. He said the officer found drugs and money inside the vehicle, and that the juvenile gave police information that led them to a house in east Tulsa.

"At 8 a.m. this morning, four of my officers - along with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department - got together and received their safety briefing...and conducted the search warrant on the house,” the chief said.

Sydney Young and Nathaniel Horn were arrested.

People who live nearby said they are surprised to hear about the bust.

"It's quiet. It’s a very nice family neighborhood. We have kids running around playing and everything, and there normally hasn't been too many crimes like that here,” neighbor Hillary Duncan said.

Bell said this should serve as a stern warning.

"My guys are very aggressive -, if they find out that you're bringing drugs into the city, one way or another they're gonna hunt you down. They're gonna do whatever they need to, to come after you," he said.

Horn was arrested on several complaints of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled and dangerous substance, felony possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Young was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both were released on bond.
