The Oklahoma City Police Department is searching for three suspects after they broke into a home on the 6300 block of South Harvey Ave.

Thomas Patenaude has lived there for three years, recently installing a 24-7 surveillance system. He was at work on Dec. 14 when he got a notification on his phone about movement in his house.

He called police right away. Three young suspects were in and out of the home in less than five minutes. They were gone by the time law enforcement or Thomas himself showed up.

Thomas said his garage was broken into. The door frame leading into the house from the garage was also pried open and broken. The suspects stole two flat screen televisions, a gaming system, games, a laptop, and a firearm.

Thomas’s biggest concern is that his weapon was stolen and these three individuals could be armed and dangerous.

“They need to be off the streets,” he said.

Thomas described the suspects as two white men and one black man. All of them are about 5’11” tall and around 180 pounds in their late teens or early 20s. Thomas is confident they will be caught.

“People have already given us really great leads. It’s only a matter of time,” he said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300.
