OKCPD Arrest Man In August Infant Death

Oklahoma City Police announced the arrest of Ron Turner, 29, in the death of an 18-day old infant.

On August 23, police say they answered a welfare check at a home near NE 16th and Kelley. The infant was pronounced dead at the scene and the investigation has been ongoing since.

Last Friday, police went to arrest Turner on other, unrelated charges. During their interview, OKC police say they heard enough to charge Turner with first degree murder.

Turner currently resides in the Oklahoma County Jail with charges of first degree rape with a victim under 14, lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16, and first degree murder.
