Authorities have determined a bomb threat made against an airplane landing at Will Rogers World Airport was a hoax.

Oklahoma City police investigated the threat after a plane landed about 5:45 p.m. Saturday at Will Rogers airport in Oklahoma City, but determined it was hoax.

The airport was never placed on lock down and flights were not impacted, the airport spokeswoman told News 9.

The charter plane was set to land at the Oklahoma City airport when authorities received a threat against it. The plane was carrying members of the Boston Celtics basketball organization, the FBI confirmed Saturday night.

The FBI is investigating the source of the threat. The Celtics are set to play the Thunder at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Chesapeake Arena in downtown Oklahoma City.
