Tulsa Salvation Army Captain Ken Chapman spent three days this week walking 66 miles on Route 66.

The walk started Wednesday in Claremore and wrapped Friday night in Tulsa.  Wednesday and Thursday nights he slept in a cardboard box outside in what he said was his way of bringing awareness to a growing problem in the Tulsa area -- homelessness.

The Tulsa Metro Pipe Band accompanied Chapman with "Amazing Grace" as he completed his 66 hour walk at Tulsa's BOK Center Friday evening.

Ken Chapman says every muscle in his body ached after the fundraising walk.

His goal was to raise $66,000.  If you want to donate, you can visit the Salvation Army's website.
