Two people were rescued from an apartment fire in NW OKC overnight.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to the Muntage Apartments in the 3000 block of NW 41st, shortly after 4:00 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, firefighters reported seeing visible flames coming from a second-story apartment.

OKCFD says firefighters used ground ladders to rescue two people from second-story windows. They were treated for smoke inhalation.

In total, eight units were affected by the fire - two of those units were destroyed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
