NW OKC Home's Chimney Catches On Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY -

A family had to call the fire department after they noticed their nice, family fire had actually caught the chimney on fire.

There is extensive damage in the living room and smoke damage throughout the home, near NW 43rd and Meridian, totally near $100,000.

The family was displaced for the night. There were no injuries.

Oklahoma City Fire asked the residents to check their smoke detectors and chimney before the family gets back into the home.
