Third Party Fires Shots At OKCPD During Traffic Stop

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police were shot at during a routine traffic stop near NW 10th and Rockwell.

As the officers were taking the traffic suspect into custody in the parking lot of a strip mall, a patrol car was hit with several rounds of gunfire.

Police searched the area but were unable to find a shooting suspect. They are still actively investigating the case.

Three cruisers and five officers were involved in the initial traffic stop. No were shot and no one was injured.
