OKLAHOMA CITY -

A Bethany teen who was shot and nearly killed six weeks ago, talked to News 9 Thursday.

Selina Hill was shot in the chest by two young men near Northwest 88th and Shartel on October 20.  Selina said the boys had stolen another family member’s bike.

She went through two emergency surgeries and spent more than a month in OU Medical Center.

Selina’s mother Sherry said because she spent so much time at her daughter’s side, her family has been evicted from their home in Bethany.

“I lost everything, and now the bills are backed up. We are at a hotel and about to get kicked out of her Friday,” said Sherry. “So we have no place to go. It’s been real hard; it’s been a struggle.”

Selina said she really doesn’t think much about the shooting.

“I’m not really concerned about the two boys. You know, God will handle it in his own way. I’m just glad to live another day,” said Selina.
