BRISTOW, Oklahoma - A Bristow teacher was arrested Wednesday, accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), arrested 24-year-old Christopher Bivins, Wednesday afternoon. The investigation began after OSBI was contacted by Bristow Police and the Creek County DA’s office.

Details of the alleged relationship have not yet been released to the media.

According to a report, Bivins resigned from the Bristow school district just hours before his arrest. Bivins was booked into the Creek County Jail on one count of Second-Degree Rape, one count of Sexual Battery, one count of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Production of Child Pornography and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
