OU's Orlando Brown Named Big 12 Offensive Lineman Of The Year
One day after being named to the AP's All-Big 12 First Team, OU offensive tackle Orlando Brown was named the conference's offensive lineman of the year on Wednesday.
Brown, a six-foot-eight, 280 pound sophomore, is widely considered one of the better left tackles in the country and has started each of the past two seasons for the Sooners. Brown also made headlines on Tuesday when his mentor and former OU football player, Jamal Brown, announced via Twitter that Brown would return to OU next season.
With Brown likely coming back for at least one more year, the Sooners have their top six offensive lineman set to return next season along with quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Brown and the Sooners will be back in action on Jan. 2, when they square off with Auburn in the Sugar Bowl.
