A body found on Nov. 30 in Kingfisher County has been identified through fingerprints, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.

The badly decomposed body was identified as Michael Don Lea, 41. His body was found by hunters in a wooded area, northeast of Waterloo Road and 2940 Road.

In September, Lea was involved in a police chase with Piedmont police officers. Officers lost sight of the pickup and later found the pickup abandoned, OSBI said.

The state medical examiner will determine Lea's cause and manner of death. OSBI agents will continue to investigate the death as suspicious.
