Peppermint Grinch Crinkles
- 1 vanilla cake mix
- 1 stick Braums' unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup corn starch
- green food coloring
- 1/2 cup Andes candies baking pieces
- red fondant
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl mix together the vanilla cake mix, softened butter, canola oil and eggs.
- Add in the food coloring till the desired green is reached.
- Stir in the peppermint candies.
- In another bowl mix together the powdered sugar and cornstarch.
- Using a cookie scoop, place the cookie ball in the powdered sugar and cornstarch mixture.
- Roll into a ball and place on the baking sheet.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- While the cookies are cooking roll out the red fondant till it is 1/8 inch thick and then cut out a small heart.
- Once the cookies are done cooking place the heart on each of cookies while they cool.
