A judge postponed making a decision on whether Anthony Palma can drop his attorney and claim he is indigent in order to be represented by a public defender.

Anthony Palma is charged with the 1997 kidnapping and murder of 8-year-old Kirsten Hatfield of Midwest City.

A hearing has been tentatively rescheduled for Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. The judge wants to review his bank records and see if he has funds available for his legal defense.
