Man Wanted in SE OKC Murder Arrested

Oklahoma City Police arrested a man Friday in connection to the shooting death of a man in his backyard.

Police called on the public for help tracking down Johnny “JC” Lindsey earlier this week.

According to police, Lindsey shot and killed 36-year-old Richard Gene Nelson Jr. Nelson in his backyard in the 6600 block of S. Kelley Avenue.

Lindsey is now in the Oklahoma County Jail. A judge has not yet determined his bond.
