An alert security guard helped Oklahoma City Police nab a couple of suspected armed robbers.
Court documents released Thursday show that a security guard at The Highlands Apartments called police after an armed robbery took place in the parking lot on November 16.
Oklahoma City Police caught up with two of the three suspects a short time later, after leading officers on a low speed chase through a field and onto railroad tracks in the area of NW 144th Street.
D’Kobbie Lockridge lives in a house nearby. “That’s the only way kids can grow up, the kids without the ignorance and the violence,” he said.
Karl McFadden, 19, and his cousin Brandon McFadden, 20, were arrested for 17 different complaints, but they have since bonded out of the Oklahoma County Jail.
