Two Units Destroyed After Apartment Fire In NW OKC

<p>Crews are battling an apartment fire in NW OKC Wednesday evening. Crews responded to the fire at the Forest Oaks Apartments in the 5600 block of NW 23rd just before 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters said their was heavy smoke and flames.&nbsp;</p>

The Oklahoma City Fire Department says two units were destroyed after a four-plex caught fire Wednesday evening in NW OKC. 

Crews responded to the fire at the Forest Oaks Apartments in the 5600 block of NW 23rd just before 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters said there was heavy smoke and flames. The blaze was under control is just under an hour. 

At this time, there's no word yet on what caused the blaze but OKCFD says there were no injuries. 

Investigators remain on scene.
