Posted: Updated:
EDMOND, Oklahoma -

Charges are filed in connection with a rash of home burglaries in the Coffee Creek neighborhood in Edmond.

Undercover detectives with Edmond Police have been investigating the case for more than a month. The string of burglaries started around the first of October and ended with the recent arrest of Ayman Ahmed.

One victim says she was home just seconds after a break-in. Police say Ahmed's fingerprints and a shoe print were found at a home near Covell and Boulevard last month. Additionally, a victim says she spotted Ahmed leaving her home wearing some of her personal items.

Police say several stolen items were found at Ahmed's home.
