OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police are looking for a person of interest after a woman was found dead in her southeast Oklahoma City home.

Sylvia Serrato, 31, was found Oct. 7, slain in her home. The state medical examiner said she was shot in the head.

Now, police have a picture of a man they want to talk to about the crime.

On Monday morning, police posted a picture on their Facebook page, hoping somebody out there recognizes him.

News 9 went back to the victim's neighborhood to see if anyone there has seen this man. Some said they had.

The image was captured by a neighbor's surveillance camera and showed the man walking along the west side of the home where Serrato lived. The home is located in the 200 block of SE 43 Street.

Other people who live along that block confirmed they saw him hanging around the blue house the day Serrato was found killed in her home.

They told News 9 they saw him around noon Monday outside the Holiday Lanes Bowling Center which is only a couple blocks away, near the intersection of SE 44 and Santa Fe.

They say they've also seen him riding a bicycle around the McDonald's parking lot located very near Serrato's home.

The ladies News 9 spoke with said they were too afraid to comment on camera, but police really want to identify the man in the picture and bring him in for questioning.

Both police and neighbors confirm that nobody has been living in the blue one story home Serrato was found dead inside.

Back in October, neighbors told News 9 there was a lot of drug activity going on in and out of the home, and that Serrato had only been living there about a year.

If you know who the man is in the photo, call the Oklahoma City police homicide tip line at (405) 297-1200.
