Standoff Ends In Arrest Of Suspect In Yukon

An overnight standoff comes to an end at a house on Vine street near Cornwell and Vandament.

According to Yukon Police, it began as a domestic dispute between a husband and wife, when the man pulled out a weapon and threatened to hurt himself and the family. Officers said the family then left the home and the man barricaded himself inside.

Police said the Canadian County Special Operations team went inside the home after officers couldn't get ahold of the man.

Police said he was arrested without incident.
