Grass Fire Destroys Home In Rural Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Multiple crews managed to extinguish a fire in rural Logan County but not before it destroyed one home, Monday afternoon.

Firefighters from Edmond, Woodcrest and Oakcliff were called out to battle the blaze, located in the 14000 block of Arrowhead Dr., east of I-35 and south of E. Simmons Rd.

Initially called out as a grass fire, the flames quickly spread to one home in the densely-wooded area. So far there are no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
