OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City Thunder Torch Bearer Russell Westbrook was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Thursday night.

Westbrook was one of six new inductees.

Last year, it was Westbrook who introduced “then” teammate Kevin Durant into the Hall of Fame.

Thursday night at the Cox Convention Center, arguably the greatest player in NBA history Michael Jordan, introduced Westbrook into Oklahoma’s Hall.

“For me growing up in Los Angeles and being able to come to Oklahoma City and people welcomed me with open arms, it’s been great for me thus far,” said Westbrook.

Westbrook said he requested that Michael Jordan introduce him, and “His Airness” obliged.
