OKLAHOMA CITY -

An Oklahoma County jury, Thursday, heard details of a 16-year-old girl’s murder from another teen, who admitted to helping kill her.

Chadd Raymond, 18, didn’t have anything to say to News 9 as he was led out of the courtroom. But he had plenty to say to jurors. Raymond scored a deal with prosecutors, avoiding a life sentence in exchange for his testimony against his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Thomas, in the murder of Anne Hill back in 2014.

All three were just 16 years old at the time of the crime. Raymond told jurors Thursday that he and Thomas lured Hill to his apartment planning to rob her.

He testified that he grabbed Hill in a choke hold and held her until she passed out, then told Thomas to, quote, “Finish the job.” He says Thomas then put Hill in a headlock and squeezed until they were sure Hill was dead. Raymond admitted, “I came up with the idea to kill her.”

The pair loaded Hill into her car and drove her to McClain County to dispose of the body. The whole time, Raymond says he and Thomas talked about how, “This is crazy.”

When they found a spot to dispose of the body, Raymond testified Thomas initially suggested dismembering the body but he said, “I can’t do that. I have a weak stomach.”

Raymond did say he bashed Hill’s face with a wrench to make her unrecognizable, first covering it with a bag because, “I was afraid I’d see blood. Her messed up face.”

Thomas later Turned herself in and led police to Raymond. She was initially charged as a juvenile for helping dispose of the body, but with Raymond’s testimony, she now faces First-Degree Murder charges.

Thomas’ attorney says Raymond only testified against Thomas to score a plea deal. He says his client admits to disposing of the body, but had nothing to do with planning the robbery or killing Hill.
