Hillary Clinton may have conceded the presidential election, but it appears 4.3 million of her supporters aren't ready to throw in the towel yet. They have a plan.

If you haven't heard, Change.org, an offshoot of George Soros' MoveOn.org, has started a petition to persuade the Electoral College electors to shift their votes to Clinton when they officially cast their ballots for president on December 19.

It would take a bunch of them; 38 to change the winner from Donald Trump to Clinton, but it's not impossible, just highly highly unlikely.

Some states allow their electors the freedom to choose, but other states don't. If they switch their votes in anyway, they could be fined $500 to $1,000.

Change.org promises Clinton supporters will gladly pay the fine.

This would be an extreme long-shot at best, most of the electors are party loyalists and leaders who are not likely to switch parties.

Historically, a total of only 82 electors have ever changed their vote just because they wanted to, and it's never changed the outcome of an election.

Besides, Clinton couldn't accept their votes after harshly criticizing Trump for not committing to honor the election results if he lost.

Could she?
