Oklahoma County Deputy Charged With Child Abuse

An Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy has been charged with one count of felony child abuse.

According to the Sheriff’s office, on Tuesday, the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s office charged patrol deputy Tyler Clanahan with one count of felony child abuse.

Clanahan, 33, was hired as a detention officer at the jail on November 10, 2008. He became a deputy sheriff in May, 2013. He resigned from the Sheriff’s office on Friday, November 11.
