One Person Critical After Head-On Crash Involving Semi In SE OKC

Emergency crews are responding to the scene of an injury crash on the southeast side of the metro, Wednesday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the scene on S. Sunnylane Rd. between SE 59th St. and I-240. According to reports, the crash involves a semi and another vehicle. Authorities have shut down Sunnylane Rd. in both directions while crews work the scene. Hazmat has also been called to the scene due to diesel fuel spilled from the semi.

S. Sunnylane will be shut down in both directions btn. 59th and 74th due to the accident involving the semi with oil and diesel spilled.

According to a spokesperson with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, one person was transported from the scene in critical condition. It is unclear if anyone else was hurt. EMSA is on the scene.
