The Oklahoma Corporation Commission's Oil and Gas Division (OGCD) will implement a new action in response to the 5.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Sunday night near Cushing.

The plan will include both shutting down some of the Arbuckle disposal wells and the reduction in volume of others, OCC said.

The plan will cover more than 700 square miles and will be an initial response. The full details of the initial response will be announced Tuesday after a final data review.

OCC said they are developing other plans that will encompass larger areas.
