State Election Board officials said early voting numbers smashed a record set back in 2008.

More than 152,000 Oklahomans have voted in person, beating the old record of 114,000.

That brings the total number of people who have voted early and by mail to 234,000.

So far, 52 percent of all voters were registered Republicans.

More than 30 million votes have been cast already across 38 states with early voting.

Numbers will be finalized Monday.
