Louisiana Man Dies After Head On Collision Near Kingfisher

A Louisiana man was pronounced dead on arrival after a crash on Highway 33 two miles south of Omega.

Lee Bamburg, 41, of Elm Grove, La., suffered extreme injuries after he drifted left of center and drove head on into a semi truck.

The driver of the semi truck was not hurt.

Police say it was raining at the time of the crash, around 6:30 p.m. Bamburg needed to be extricated from his pickup due to his being pinned.

The condition of the semi driver prior to the crash was normal. Bamburg's condition prior to the crash is still to be determined.
