Traffic On EB I-40 Near McLoud Backed Up For Miles After Fiery Crash
POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Oklahoma - Emergency crews are on the scene of a fiery crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 40 near the town of McLoud, Tuesday evening.
Traffic on the eastbound side of I-40 is backed up for miles due to the crash, involving a truck hauling a flatbed trailer.
The truck appears to have left the highway to the right and crashed into the bridge abutment at Fishmarket Rd., near mile marker 175. The crash caused the truck to burst into flames. Miraculously, the driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
