Oklahoma City Police are searching for two armed robbery suspects who stole a car with a baby inside late Friday night.

The incident took place after police responded to the Family Dollar store at NW 10th and Meridan after the reported armed robbery around 10 p.m.

According to reports, two male suspects walked into the store, and pistol whipped the clerk when she wouldn't give up the cash. Then, the suspects took off. Just block away, they came across a mother unloading her car.

"She had parked the car, just pulled up, stepped out and in just the few seconds she was away from her car, she saw the suspects jump in and took off with her baby still inside," said OKC Police Officer Travis Vernier.

Police said the car was located at NW 10th and Purdue about an hour later, but the baby was not found. A search began. Police said several blocks away, officers found the 8-month-old baby still in her car seat, unharmed and dressed as snow white.

At this time, police are asking for the public's help in locating the two suspects. They were described as one black male, and one Hispanic male who are both wearing hoodies and bandanas over their faces.
