Man Arrested For Murder In Girl's Disappearance In 1997 Appears In Court

Anthony Palma left the courtroom and is headed back to jail after making a Wednesday morning court appearance.

Attorneys for the prosecution and the defense went over court dates with the judge. Palma is accused of first-degree murder in the death and disappearance of 8-year-old Kirsten Hatfield. She disappeared back in 1997.

DNA evidence linked Palma to blood found on evidence at the crime scene. He was arrested last year.
