A pair of Oklahoma State players were named Big 12 Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Kicker Ben Grogan, who became the all-time leading scorer in Cowboy history (383 points accounted for), was named Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week and freshman running back Justice Hill was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
Grogan hit all three field goals and five PATs in OSU’s 44-20 win against Kansas. His 11 made field goals is currently the best in the Big 12.
Hill had 22 carries for 162 yards and touchdown in the road victory. He’s averaging 119 rushing yards per game in Big 12 play, a mark that is third in the league. This is the third time Hill has been named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week.
