Preliminary Hearing Set For Teen Accused Of Shooting, Killing MWC Store Clerk

A teen accused of fatally shooting a Midwest City convenience store clerk during an armed robbery will be in court on Thursday.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 17-year-old Samuel Myers. He's charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.

According to police, Myers was identified via surveillance cameras after he robbed and fatally shot 33-year-old Salman Tahir at GI’s Market in Midwest City.
