Police, FBI Investigating Bank Robbery In SW OKC

Oklahoma City Police and members of the FBI are investigating a bank robbery at a branch inside a Walmart Neighborhood Market on the southwest side of the metro.

It happened around 2:20 p.m. at the City National Bank located inside the Walmart at SW 44th St. and S. Western Ave.

Authorities tell News 9 the suspect, a white female wearing an OU sweatshirt and a dark cap, approached the teller and handed over a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the suspect left the store in an unknown direction. It is unclear if she was in a vehicle or on foot.

The woman is described as being approximately 5' 2", with dark brown and gray hair.  

A reward of up to $2,000 is offered by the Oklahoma Bankers Association for any information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
