Police Chase On I-40 Ends In Crash At I-235

Oklahoma Highway Patrol forced a vehicle to stop during a high speed chase on I-40 early Friday morning.

The chase started near the I-35 interchange when a trooper saw the driver swerving all over the road and then hit a semi.

The trooper tried to pull the car over but that didn't happen so the trooper had to use a tactical vehicle interception.

The car then hit a barrier on the interstate and flipped, landing on it's top close to I-235.

The driver is suspected of drunken driving and did not suffer significant injuries.
