Pedestrian Dies After Stepping In Front Of Car On Lake Hefner Parkway

A man was pronounced dead on the scene after he stepped in front of a car early Sunday morning. 

The car, traveling north on Lake Hefner Parkway, took the eastbound exit ramp onto Kilpatrick Turnpike. 

According to police, James Stanley, 52, "stepped in front of the vehicle and was struck." 

The driver and a passenger were uninjured. The driver was listed in normal condition. The cause of collision was noted as "pedestrian action."
