Drivers helped police tackle a man to the ground after a wreck on Highway 169 in Tulsa. Police said the man didn't have any shoes on and started jumping on top of cars.

It happened near the 51st Street exit in the northbound lanes of Highway 169. Police said the driver wrecked his car into a sign then ran loose on the highway just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the barefoot driver tried to climb on top of cars and get in other cars - including emergency vehicles - before other people helped officers arrest him. Police say the barefoot driver went to the hospital. Authorities said his symptoms indicate he was on a controlled dangerous substance.

Charges are pending the results of the investigation, according to police.

Here's another thing - police ticketed two drivers who thought it was a good idea pull over, get out of their cars and take video of the incident. They were cited for impeding the flow of traffic.
